Leica QWin is a highly versatile image analysis and processing solution for quantitative microscopy which provides complete control of Leica microscopes, macroscopes and Leica digital cameras. The modular and scaleable nature of Leica QWin is such that its capability ranges from simple interactive image measurements to automatic, multi parameter measurements of an immense number of features. Leica QWin is available in 5 editions including QWin Runner, QWin Lite, QWin Plus, QWin Standard and QWin Professional. Each edition is designed to meet a variety of needs and offers professional upgrade options as your requirements grow.

Leica QWin modular software forms the heart of Leica’s Imaging Workstations and is ideally suited to demanding quantitative microscopy applications. Leica QWin meets the complete spectrum of image analysis requirements from standalone software through to application tailored Imaging Workstations, with integrated microscopes for the automation of routine tasks.
Leica QWin is an effective and powerful software suite for general purpose image processing and analysis which gives superior customer solutions. Optimised for quantitative microscopy, it gives precise results with megapixel accuracy. The modular and scaleable nature of Leica QWin is such that its capability ranges from simple interactive image measurements to automatic, multi parameter measurements of an immense number of features.
The Leica QWin suite comprises four versions of increasing functionality. QWin Lite for interactive feature measurement with annotation, printing, documentation, storage and review. QWin Plus for automatic measurement of multiple image features with grey and binary image processing, image editing and automatic detection. QWin Std for automatic, multiple parameter measurements. The richness of the image processing combines with Leica QUIPS macro programming language to provide solutions for a diverse range of imaging tasks, including object counting, phase percent, particle sizing and many others. QWin Pro extends the capability of the suite with more advanced facilities including, Fast Fourier Transformation with the Leica FFT module and image visualistion and data interpretation with the Leica QFAB module, the ability to view feature data in a gallery with relocation, the ability to edit, sort and classify individual features and a specimen map view.
Each version provides a comprehensive series of image analysis tools, with distinct capabilities depending on the software version. All versions of Leica QWin include Leica QGallery, a module allowing images acquired through Leica QWin to be viewed either as thumbnails or full screen. Leica QFAB is an advanced module which can be used to visualise, interpret and report on raw data collected in Leica QWin. Leica Quips and Leica QForm modules provide the user with a means of macro programming and user-defined dialogs respectively.
The modular nature of Leica QWin means that it may be customised exactly to meet your requirements in terms of image resolution, image memory and computer power. It can also be readily upgraded should your needs change.
