Pathology and Cancer Research
Leica LMD6000 Patho configuration is the first choice system for pathology and cancer research:

• Entry-level system for laser microdissection in routine laboratory work
• Bright field contrasting method allows inspection of tissue sections stained with classical stains such as Heamatoxylin & Eosin or tissues stained with immunohistochemistry with chromogenic substrates. (As for immunostaining with fluorescent antibodies Leica LMD6000 Living Cell or LMD6000 Multi-User configurations should be chosen)
• Contact- and contamination-free isolation of regions of interests ensures reliable molecular analyses such as DNA sequencing, genotyping or gene expression profiling.
• Microdissection of large areas with 6.3x, 10x or 20x objectives
• The sample through-put can be increased by multi-cutting over all magnifications over the entire slide into four different microcentrifuge tubes at once
• Archiving of images is possible within the data base (available as an option)
