It is able to examine specimens and produce statistics summarising a wide variety of parameters of each particle within the specimen. Applications include the examination of substances such as powders, inclusions in metals and the particulate content of filters.

Automation provides greater sample throughput and measurement repeatability and also ensures objectivity, leading to greater accuracy. Using optional microscope motorisation, Leica QParticles will automatically scan the specimen, for fully unattended inspection of many fields of view.
Visual Confirmation
For added reassurance in the data measure, Leica QParticles can store images of all particles in predefined limits. These can be reviewed at the end of the automated analysis so that the operator can confirm that the correct particles are included. You can also reject any specimen particles or debris.
